Description

Leaving the Rock of Cashel, we will take a left and down to the Kiln. At the bottom of the hill we will take another left and head for the village of Ardmayle where we will cross the bridge over the River Suir and head up to the T-junction at the old RIC Barracks where we will take a left, then right and on towards The Hive. From there we will head onwards to the old Blackbridge Creamery where we will take a left to the village of Knockavilla. Passing through the village we will head for Camus where, once again, we will cross the River Suir with Camus Park Stud on our right. Two km later we will pass Brittas Stud on our right before seeing the Rock of Cashel straight ahead and heading to the Lower Gate of the ancient City of the Kings. We will then head for a welcome cup of coffee and a chat in one of the many fine cafés to be found in the town.

About

I joined the Cashel Rock Pedallers in 2014. Since then I built up my distances, from an initial 5km in 2016, completing a 170km on the 2012 Olympics Road Race Course! I have also completed many more Sportives, including all four Great Dublin Bike Rides. If I can do it at nearly 70, so can you!
