Description

We will depart the car park at the Arches Bar and continue to Mallow Bridge. Crossing over the bridge, we will take the Park road to the junction at West End. From here we will avoid the main road by taking the road on to Shortcastle street and lower Beecher St. We will then join the main Cork to Limerick road at the roundabout junction at Beecher St. continuing to New Two Pot House crossroads. Here we will leave the main road going right for Doneraile. Arriving in the main street, we will hopefully avail of coffee/tea in Doneraile House tea rooms.

Suitably refreshed, we will take Convent Rd. out of Doneraile travelling on a nice country road through agricultural land to Hazelwood/Old twopothouse crossroads. Rejoining the New Twopothouse/Doneraile rd. continuing back to New Two Pot House and returning to Mallow by our outward bound route. Arriving back at the Arches Bar/restaurant, where coffee and a good chat and craic will be had on the terrace.

Challenging spin this morning in fantastic weather. Everyone stepped up to the challenge and enjoyed the spin. Nice stop at Doneraile Court for coffee/tea. Coffee was very nice. Everyone interacted together and mixed well. The spin went a bit over time so concensus was to skip the optional coffee at the end. Positive feedback from everyone and looking forward to next AXA Community Bike Ride.
