Leaving Ballybunion, we will head towards the golf club road taking in the lovely views of the world renowned links course. Once we cross the Cashen river we take a right to get an amazing view up close to the river bank. With low tide we may see the Cashen fishermen with their boats and nets on the river fishing for wild salmon. On our spin up from the river bank we hit the water tower and will take a few minutes to admire the amazing Atlantic views. From here we take a left & then right to take in the view of Ratoo round tower. We take a right before Ballyduff and have a good down hill to recover the legs Once we head back for Ballybunion we pass over the Cashen river again & return to the Garda Station on the main road. Please make sure your bike is roadworthy and you have a helmet.
I'm on a mini-break to Ballybunion so leading a pop-up ride there this weekend. Hope you can join me on this bike ride!

What a beautiful cycle from the town of Ballybunion & around the Cashen. Low tide but no fishermen today but so peaceful, the rest point at the Cashen overlooking the new golf course. Then a nice leg workout to the watertower. Nice & easy spinning to the Ratoo round tower, spectacular views all around. The spin back to Ballybunion took in the amazing back drop of Brandon mountain in the distance & of course the “snowman in the phone box” yes you did read correct! Kerry is just amazing! Till next spin back in Limerick safe cycling everyone!
