We leave the car park and turn left onto R498. We turn right in the village to Pallas Cross stop junction before turning left and keeping left at Pallas bridge/Sandtrap. Continuing along the road until to Annfield bridge, we turn right and keep left at the fork in the road and continue to the stop junction. Next, we turn left onto the R503 and go through Ballycahill village up to the stop junction at Killinan. We turn right and cycle in past the racecouse where we will take a refreshment break. At the college roundabout, we take the first exit onto Jimmy Doyle Road and then the next turn to the left heading past Leagh school and through Dovea onto the stop junction. We turn right and straight away take the road to the left, following this road all the way to Knocka and the stop junction with R501. Going left here and at the next junction turning right, we follow the road towards Barnane. With the Devils Bit Mountain in full view, we turn left at the stop junction and past Barnane stud, following the road to Killoskehane Bridge and at the next stop junction we turn left. We continue on to Summerhill and at the stop junction turn right onto the R501 and follow this road into Borrisoleigh village. At the stop junction, we turn right going up through the village and turn right again into the car park at Shanahan's service station.
