Welcome to Bike Week! This week we are going to do an easy going cycle and just enjoy the countryside. This cycle is especially for easy going cyclists who just want to do small miles and have a chat. We head out left and go straight across the Cookstown Road onto the Farmhill Road and at the next junction go straight across, this is still the Farmhill Rd. At the next junction we go straight ahead onto the Deverney Road and stay on this road for approximately 2 miles. We will take a left at the top of the road onto the Crocknacor Road and stay on this road until we come to the main Carrickmore Road. At this point we will take left and head back to Omagh. We will enjoy a socially distant cuppa and maybe a slice of pavlova to celebrate Bike Week!

I'm an enthusiastic leisure cyclist keen to see more people cycling in my area. This is a great way to meet new friends and clear the head, plus have a bit of fun!
We had a great wee spin with our very novice beginners. We shortened the route to 5miles as some were very nervous about cycling in traffic. Everyone really enjoyed themselves and were able to have a conversation as they cycled. By the time we returned the nerves had left them. I really enjoyed this group. We had a cuppa from my vehicle and planned another trip. But it must be a dry day! Lol
