Description

This week our spin takes us right onto the Old Mountfield Road where we will take another right onto St Mary's Road. On reaching the Gortin Road, we will turn right and continue until we take a left onto the Gortnagarn Road which brings us out to the A5 Newtownstewart Road. We will head straight across and up the hill into Mountjoy and continue through the next crossroads onto the Dunteige Road.

We will then take a right onto the Cashty Road and continue up this road followed by a downhill which brings us to a junction where we will turn left onto the Baronscourt Road. This route is challenging but if we take our time it will not be a problem. We will turn left off this road onto the Drumlegagh Road and continue on this road where it brings us back to the A5 Newtownstewart Road. We will take a right at this junction and head back to Omagh. We will cycle our usual return journey and end up back at the Village Inn. At some point along the journey we will have a brief stop to give everyone a break and a have a chat.

We were very lucky with the weather as it rained heavy all day up until 5pm.   When we headed out at 6.15pm the sun came out and we had a brilliant cycle.  Only problem when we stopped for a break the migets decided we were their break and eat us alive!  We very quickly got back on the bikes and continued our cycle.

I had the flash, tea, coffee and a few treats in the back of the car so we enjoyed our cuppa and chat minus the migets when we got back.
