Description

This is our second spin for the beginners group who only want to do small miles. If there are anymore cyclists out there who are keen to start in a group please join us as this will be a very leisurely spin. This week we will start from my friends house on the Creevan Road which is just right off the Dromore Road about two miles from Omagh. We leave her house and head left back out onto the Dromore Road where we will take a right. We will take the next right onto the old Clanabogan Road and stay on this road. This is a nice quiet road so plenty of opportunity for a chat and to enjoy the scenery. At the end of this road we will stop at the T junction, take a left and head under the bridge. We will take another left and this brings us back up to the main Dromore Road. We will cross over the main Dromore Road and continue right back up this road. We will stay on the hard shoulder and this will get everyone used to traffic passing. On reaching the Creevan Road, we will turn left and return to my friend's house. We will enjoy a socially distant cuppa outside.

Please click here to familarise yourself with the Safety Guidance in place for group rides during Covid-19.

Please also complete a self-assessment personal screening questionnaire in advance of your bike ride.

Note that insurance cover is only extended for the duration of the individual bike ride you have registered to complete.

Another lovely evening for a bike ride.  We had a very enjoyable spin and the girls enjoyed a chat along our easygoing route. A cuppa was had on our return.
