Description

We will start the ride at McDonagh Junction car park, passing Nowlan Park on our left before joining Loughlin Road. At the roundabout, we link onto the Old Clara Road past Archersrath. After approx. 4km, we turn left onto a quiet intersecting road and continue for a further 2km before crossing the Johnswell road and linking with a back road heading to Ballyfoyle. After a further 4km, we then turn left onto the New Orchard Road which takes us back to the Kilkenny City Ring Road. We go through the roundabout and proceed along the city streets to the 'Muse Café at the Butler Gallery for refreshments.

About

I am a leisure cyclist for many years. Over the last few years I have participated in many AXA Community Bike Rides and like their camaraderie and ethos. I have completed the leaders course so that I can share that enjoyment with fellow leisure cyclists.

Beautiful morning for an easy ramble through rural roads, followed by a nice coffee and scone at Mews cafe.
