Description

Perfect location to start from, the beautiful village of Adare. Taking a quiet countryside route, it will be no time when you will forget the busy motorways! Going in the direction of Curraghchase the road will cross the famous great Southern Railway trail that once ran from Kerry to Limerick and beyond. From Curraghchase, we will follow the Maigne River back to our start point: beautiful Adare! We will have our coffee break after the ride in the Heritage Centre, for anyone who would like to go for a cuppa and a chat!

What a fantastic day to start our 1st AXA Community Bike Ride! With the sun out & the sunscreen applied away went our cycle group. A huge thank you to Liam, Bridget, Helen, Alice & Paul for participating. Our route was planned out to take in some quiet roads to Curraghchase & back to Adare heritage centre for our coffee stop. Everyone arrived back with a huge smile on their faces as the sun was an added bonus. We enjoyed a chat, coffee & scone in the fabulous heritage centre coffee shop on our return. Till next time, enjoy & safe cycling!
