One of my favourite cycles in this county! We will start with a 3 mile flat route out to the start of our climb. This climb is a long, slow drag for about 5 miles. It is a very approachable climb which we will cover at your own pace and there is no pressure to reach the end of it but when you do it is worth all the effort! The views on the down side are fantastic, as is the ride down which is also around 5 miles of pure bliss with very little pedalling. We then go into Belleek where we will get refreshments and then take a nice, scenic route up the Lough Shore road back to the village of Derrygonnelly.

Please click here to familarise yourself with the Safety Guidance in place for group rides during Covid-19.

Please also complete a self-assessment personal screening questionnaire in advance of your bike ride.

Note that insurance cover is only extended for the duration of the individual bike ride you have registered to complete.

I have a keen interest in leisure cycling which I have been doing for 12 years. I have taken part in several multi day cycles and sportives, and I would like to encourage other like minded people to experience cycling and the fantastic social side attached to it.

Fantastic spin this morning in all types off weather! We had 4 seasons in 3hrs but what the hell, it's great to be out in the fresh air .
