Our cycle begins at the Irish National Heritage Park. Turning right out of the carpark here, we cycle up the small hill to meet the main N25 road. We turn left here and cycle along the hard shoulder over Ferrycarrig Bridge and up the hill. We turn left at Kyle crossroads and follow the road all the way down through Kyle Upper, Ballydicken Upper and on into the Deeps. It's here we cross the river Slaney at Killurin Bridge. We will more than likely stop here for a few photos as it's such as stunning location.
Continuing on, we cycle up the hill (it's a sticky one, so the option to walk up this is absolutely a possiblity and we can re-group at the top). We will turn left at the top; there is another very short hill to take us up onto the R730 road heading in the direction of Carrigmanon, Glynn. We continue along the R730 and pass through Muchwood crossroads, staying on the road that we are currently on. It's not long before we have the river Slaney to our left hand side and the stunning views it has to offer. We come to a junction at Ardcandrisk where we cycle left under the railway bridge and along beside the river. We continue along this road which takes us back to our start point at the heritage park. The coffee stop for this particular cycle is at the end and is available from the Heritage Park cafe.

I love my bike! I love adventure, being outside in the fresh air, on the move, all year round. I love how it makes me feel - Alive! I honestly believe the best experiences are shared experiences which is why I decided to register to become a Ride Leader. I want to share the 'Feel Good' with as many people as possible. We will never be as young again as we are now, let's give it a go and see what happens!
