This spin takes us to all the bridges around the city. When we head off from the Parade Plaza we cycle out the Castle Road up Black Quarry hill over the Ossory Bridge. We will continue down the canal across the River Nore by the Ossory Pedestrian Bridge and along the canal walk to the Canal Square. We will head over John's Bridge, up John Street and out the Castlecomer Road. We will take the New Road over Green's Bridge, out the Freshford Road, Grange's Road before taking a left at the roundabout. We will then continue down Dean Street over Francis Abbey Bridge taking a left at Michael Street junction. We will then head onto the quay over the Lady Desart Bridge, across Dunnes Stores car park and finish at the yard cafe for a coffee.
Make sure you wear clothing appropriate to the weather conditions. Also, remember your money for the coffee stop and a lock may be useful as we will likely sit inside!

Since 2006, I have been a recreational and utility cyclist and I have worked with Kilkenny Cycling Tours. I'm a tutor with southeast cycling safety, KRSP and Cycling Ireland. My aim is to get more people on bikes so they can enjoy the health benefits it has to offer.
Lovely bright morning where everyone enjoyed cycling over and under the city bridges.
