We will head out from Kinvara towards the Ballyvaughan road. We will then turn left onto the Moy road and head straight by the GAA pitch towards the Newline. Here we will turn left and follow the road to the Burren Perfumery cross roads. Here we will have a choice as a group to return to Kinvara which will be 10km completed or if the group agrees, we will continue straight until we turn left at the Burren Yoga. We will then continue straight on a nice, flat road for 5km until we turn left for Killina and back to Kinvara, where we will enjoy a cuppa in Keogh's Pub.
Remember to bring some money for the coffee stop!
I have over 30 years cycling experience and have completed adventure races, triathlons and long distance cycles. I'm getting involved and leading these bike rides to promote cycling in a safe and enjoyable manner and to help people in my community increase their activity levels.
Early morning black ice on the roads forced me to delay the start time for spin today… With the festive period in full swing and Xmas party season upon us many people may decide that they are too busy…or it’s too cold to head out for a cycle. Temperature today was 2 degrees and felt like -2 but the rain stayed away and it ended up being a lovely day for a cycle despite the cold!
