We will meet at Knocktopher Service Station, and we will take the main road to Stoneyford village where we will turn right, heading towards Noreland's and Ballylinch Stud. After having crossed over the river Nore, we will turn right onto a small road to bring us into Bennettsbridge, where we will take a stop at Nicholas Mosse pottery and cafe for our morning coffee and treat. Having refreshed ourselves we will turn left, heading past Nore Valley pet farm and onto Ennisnag, turning left for Stoneyford village. We will travel through the village and cycle our way back to Knocktopher. This is a very scenic route and really enjoyable. As we spend a lot of it on quiet back roads it gives great opportunities for us to chat and get to know one another.

I am a cycling enthusiast and feel it is such a great way to exercise in a leisurely enjoyable pastime. Having experienced being a participant with our Kilkenny group, I felt it would be a great asset to have a local group in Thomastown, which is why I became a leader. I try to vary my rides distance and speed wise to accommodate everyone's level of fitness and bike confidence.
