We will meet at Service station in Knocktopher village on the Stoneyford road, leaving the village on the R699. Taking a left turn for Dunamaggin just a few kms out of the villag, we will be continuing on through Dunamaggin village before turning right onto the R697 to the village of Kells. Here we will pass by Kells Priory to Stoneyford village for a welcome break for our coffee at Knockdrinna cafe. Once refreshed we will be back on our bikes heading back to Knocktopher on the R713. This is a lovely part of the country and a very enjoyable cycle.

I am a cycling enthusiast and feel it is such a great way to exercise in a leisurely enjoyable pastime. Having experienced being a participant with our Kilkenny group, I felt it would be a great asset to have a local group in Thomastown, which is why I became a leader. I try to vary my rides distance and speed wise to accommodate everyone's level of fitness and bike confidence.
