Departing the Arches Bar car park heading towards Quartertown village and Clyda Bridge. Turning right here heading for Newberry cross taking the road for Glantane village, crossing over the level crossing of the Mallow to Killarney railway line. Just as we reach Glantane, we take a sharp left for Dromahane village and a welcome stop at Kelly's Costcutter for Tea or Coffee, where I can recommend the coffee! Suitably rested and refreshed, we will recommence the cycle, taking the Mallow road to Gouldshill Junction. Here, we take a left for Quartertown village, passing over the Mallow/Killarney railway line for a second time. Through Quartertown village, going right to return to the Arches Bar and a final coffee/tea on the terrace, if so required.

I enjoy cycling as a recreational sport and as a family activity. Cycling is a low impact way to stay fit and experience the open air that's suitable for everyone. I am involved in a local Cycling Club, hold a Coaching qualification and coach our Youth members.
Very successful spin. Threatening rain but it held off. Two stops for coffee. One stop at the end in sunshine sitting out on the terrace of the Arches bar/ restaurant. Good company and everyone had an enjoyable spin.
