This cycle will head for Dooras crossroads but we will be taking a left for an easy gradient climb up Redmont Hill into Eyrecourt via Lisnacody. From Eyrecourt village we will turn right after Hogan Tractors for 2kms and then take a left for Meelick, passing a lovely thatch cottage and Meelick Church. Onwards then to Meelick Weir, where we can all relax to the flow of the Shannon beside the Weir with a nice coffee from Cairde Coffee. We will return to Lawrencetown via the same route.

I enjoy keeping active and love cycling for leisure. I am involved with our village's "Let's Get Active" group which promotes health, fitness and well-being for all ages in our community and the surrounding areas. It would be great to encourage locals to cycle as it's an easy, healthy and fun way to get out in the fresh air for a break from everyday life 😀.
