Our ride started at 9pm as the sun was going down behind the Comeragh Mountains. We had a mixed group with some club cyclists, ranging to a French exchange student, on a borrowed bike. As we rode out along the Waterford Greenway, dusk was quickly approaching, and by the time we reached the Ballyvoille Tunnel all lights were on. Stopping for a photo, we were visited by bats trying to work out why we were out so late. Continuing onto Dungarvan, where we had a break, before returning to Kilmacthomas at Midnight.
