We will leave from The Quay Car Park, taking the R713, passing by Jerpoint Abbey and turning right at Goat's bridge trout farm onto the L4206. This road takes us past Jerpoint park and onto the front gates of Mount Juliet estate, where we will cycle onto Stoneyford turning right across Moreland's and Knockanore joining up with the Thomastown/Bennett's bridge road the R448, where we will turn right bringing us back to Thomastown. This is a really lovely bike ride with fabulous scenery and we will take a few stops to take some photos and enjoy our surroundings. Last stop will be to have our cuppa, cake and chat before heading home.

I am a cycling enthusiast and feel it is such a great way to exercise in a leisurely enjoyable pastime. Having experienced being a participant with our Kilkenny group, I felt it would be a great asset to have a local group in Thomastown, which is why I became a leader. I try to vary my rides distance and speed wise to accommodate everyone's level of fitness and bike confidence.
This was a wonderful ride with some great people today I was really delighted with it.
