Description

Well done to those of you who have completed the cycles in August and welcome to any new cyclist who wants to take up the challenge in September!

We will leave the Village Inn car park at Killyclogher and head right onto the Old Mountfield Road where we will take a right onto St Mary's Road. On reaching the Gortin Road, we will turn right and continue until we take a left onto the Gortnagarn Road which brings us out to the A5 Newtownstewart Road. We will head straight across and up the hill into Mountjoy and continue through the next crossroads onto the Dunteige Road. On reaching the Drumlegagh Road, we will continue and at the next junction we will turn left onto the Baronscourt Road. We will enjoy a speedy few rollovers on this road as it has been resurfaced. At the next junction, we will take a left onto the Castlederg Road which brings us into Drumquin. We will then have a quick stop and if time permits have a well deserved ice-cream!

From here we will go straight through the village and head for Omagh. On reaching Omagh, we will take the Crevenagh Road, followed by the Cookstown Road and a left onto the Knocknamoe Road, and arrive back at the Village Inn for a social distancing cuppa!

Another good spin. Sorcha was running late so didn't make it and Seamus something came up. Everyone else enjoyed themselves. I managed to take a short video of them crossing a bridge. And took a few fun pictures.
