It's National Bike Week, so if there was ever a time to get out for a spin, this is it.

Leaving Murrintown Community Centre, we take a right turn onto the L3041 and head over in the direction of Cleariestown, where we will take another right turn about 2km into our cycle. We travel straight over and through Cleariestown until we meet a T-junction, where we turn left and head in the direction of Baldwinstown. Our coffee stop is here at the Forge - we are 13k in at this stage. After a short break, we cross straight over the road and head on towards Bridgetown. We take a right turn over the bridge and then a left and cycle until we meet the R739. Then, we take a left turn and cycle up the road for a short distance before turning left again, heading in the direction Mayglass. We have a straight road from here all the way up to the L3041 where we will turn right and make our way back to Murrintown.

It is a pleasant little spin with some nice eye candy. Nothing too taxing in the cycling department. The roads are flat for the best part. This is an easy paced cycle with plenty of time to take in the views, relax and soak up some September sunshine.

I love my bike! I love adventure, being outside in the fresh air, on the move, all year round. I love how it makes me feel - Alive! I honestly believe the best experiences are shared experiences which is why I decided to register to become a Ride Leader. I want to share the 'Feel Good' with as many people as possible. We will never be as young again as we are now, let's give it a go and see what happens!

What a day for a cycle. It's bike week and we enjoyed the best possible experience. I hate saying it but it got very hot towards the end! Coffee at the Forge was delicious and the company was wonderful. Thanks everyone for another very enjoyable spin.
