This spin takes us to all the bridges around the City. When we head off from the Parade Plaza we cycle out the Castle Road up Black Quarry hill over the Ossory Bridge, down the canal across the River Nore by the Ossory Pedestrian Bridge, along the canal walk to the Canal Square over John's Bridge, up John Street and out the Castlecomer Road, New Road over Green's Bridge, out the Freshford Road, Grange's Road, a left at the roundabout and continue down Dean Street over Francis Abbey Bridge take a left at Michael Street junction, onto the quay over the Lady Desart Bridge, across Dunnes Stores car park and finish up at the yard cafe for cake and coffee!

Make sure you wear clothing appropriate to the weather conditions. Also, remember your money for the coffee stop and a lock may be useful as we will probably end up sitting at the new public seating area.

Since 2006, I have been a recreational and utility cyclist and I have worked with Kilkenny Cycling Tours. I'm a tutor with southeast cycling safety, KRSP and Cycling Ireland. My aim is to get more people on bikes so they can enjoy the health benefits it has to offer.
