Leaving from The Quay Car Park we will travel up Station road, turning right at Ballylinch stud gates onto Newtown road. We will take a left onto L8202 and continue on until we reach the R700 at Killarney cross, where we will take a left towards Bennettsbridge. We will turn right at the junction onto L6716 to bring us to Tullaherin Tower. We will then turn right at the church to Stroen fountain leading us onto the junction on Gowran road R448, where we will take a right turn. This will bring us back to Thomastown for coffee and a snack at The Blackberry Cafe.
Please remember to bring a rain jacket in case it gets wet, and money for a cuppa on our return!

I am a cycling enthusiast and feel it is such a great way to exercise in a leisurely enjoyable pastime. Having experienced being a participant with our Kilkenny group, I felt it would be a great asset to have a local group in Thomastown, which is why I became a leader. I try to vary my rides distance and speed wise to accommodate everyone's level of fitness and bike confidence.
Great morning out on our first Thomastown ride, weather was just nice for cycling, great company and everyone really enjoyed the morning out, hopefully first of many.
