We will set off from The Quay Car Park, travelling through the Market Square onto the Station road. Just before the gates to Ballylinch Stud Farm we will take a left onto a really quiet, little road that will bring us back into the town at the Ladywell roundabout. We will proceed up the Carlow road past SuperValu and onto the right turn for Kilmurray. We will again be on a quiet, little road until we reach the T-junction on the Graignamanagh road. Here we will be turning right to take us downhill back into the town, where we can have our well earned coffee break. This ride is another chance to get familiar with your bike, practice your gear changing, improve your fitness and above all enjoy a nice morning out for yourself in the fresh air.

I am a cycling enthusiast and feel it is such a great way to exercise in a leisurely enjoyable pastime. Having experienced being a participant with our Kilkenny group, I felt it would be a great asset to have a local group in Thomastown, which is why I became a leader. I try to vary my rides distance and speed wise to accommodate everyone's level of fitness and bike confidence.
