This week we will ride the Suir Blueway from Clonmel to Carrick-on-Suir and back. Starting at the Gashouse Bridge in Clonmel, we will take the Blueway path running alongside the river Suir via Kilsheelan and on to Carrick-on-Suir where we will stop for a coffee break before heading back to Clonmel.

I joined the Cashel Rock Pedallers in 2014. Since then I built up my distances, from an initial 5km in 2016, completing a 170km on the 2012 Olympics Road Race Course! I have also completed many more Sportives, including all four Great Dublin Bike Rides. If I can do it at nearly 70, so can you!
It was back for an AXA Community group ride with the opening up after the enforced lockdown, and what a glorious day to start with. If the day was good, getting back for a spin on the Suir Blueway Tipperary was even better.
It was a pleasure to welcome riders from Cork and Dublin and this lead to a nice bit of banter as we pedalled our way alongside the beautiful river Suir all the way from Clonmel to Carrick-on-Suir.
Thankfully, our usual coffee stop was open in Carrick and after a welcome coffee and chat we made our way back up the river to Clonmel.
All in all, it was really pleasent spin on a lovely day in lovely company. We can now look forward to, hopefully, more of the same.
