Leaving Barntown church rear gate, we turn right and head up through Slaneyview and Kingsford. At the cools we turn left up the hill and climb for about 1-2kms. We pass Forth Mountain stud and make our way towards the next left turn to take us up on to Forth Mountain. We continue on this road and you will be glad to hear there is a long downhill to balance out our earlier climb. We come to a cross roads, which is where we cross the Newline road and make our way down Redshire road. It's all downhill all the way to Murrintown Village. Upon entering the village we turn left and continue along this road past the community centre and head out onto the Johnstown road. When we reach Johnstown Estate, we leave the road as our coffee stop is here. The coffee stop is approximately 20 minutes.
Leaving Johnstown we turn right at the gate and head in the direction of the Piercestown roundabout. We cycle through it and continue on and then turn left into Rathaspeck. Cycling along, we eventually reach the main road junction where we pick up the N25 in the direction of Dublin, so we are turning left. We cycle up the hard shoulder, cycling straight through the Newline Road roundabout and continue on down the hill all the way to the New Ross Road roundabout. We take another left turn here and make our way back to our start point at Barntown church car park.

I love my bike! I love adventure, being outside in the fresh air, on the move, all year round. I love how it makes me feel - Alive! I honestly believe the best experiences are shared experiences which is why I decided to register to become a Ride Leader. I want to share the 'Feel Good' with as many people as possible. We will never be as young again as we are now, let's give it a go and see what happens!
