Description

Welcome back everyone. This is our first cycle of the new year so we will take it easy. We start from the large car park in front of the hall opposite the chapel in Killyclogher. We head out the Old Mountfield Road and take the second right onto Castleview Road. We continue on this road until we reach the Gortin Road and here we take a right and head for Gortin. After a few miles, we take a left onto the Knockmoyle Road which is a minor road. We continue on this road until it brings us to the Gortnagarn Road where we take a right and head for the A5. Just before the main road we take a left onto Connaghty Road followed at the next junction by a right - this will bring us out onto the A5. We cross over the road into Mountjoy and on reaching the church we turn right which will bring us back out onto the A5. We cross over the road again, heading back onto the Gortnagarn Road and continuing on this road until we reach the Gortin Road. We take a right and some way along the Gortin Road we take another right onto a very minor road called Cappagh Road. We continue past the church and this road then becomes the Strathroy Road. On reaching the roundabout, we take a right and at the second set of lights we turn left onto the Old Mountfield Road before we return to where we started. We will then head across the road to 'The Village Inn' coffee shop and have a well deserved outdoor coffee and a chat about our activities over the Christmas period.
