On the morning of the ride, we woke to a howling gale, followed by heavy rain. By the time we gathered on the Quay in Waterford, the weather had changed to mist and drizzle. The cycle went ahead along the Waterford Greenway, heading into the mist coming from the river. Returning from Kilmeaden, you wouldn't call it sunny but the mist was brighter!
